Spectronn Inc. announces the signing of a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), C5ISR Center.

This overarching agreement focuses on “Emerging Technologies and Capabilities,” marking a massive milestone in our ongoing mission to deliver secure and resilient software-defined 5G and SATCOM convergence capabilities to the tactical edge.

The Mission: Resilient Networks in Contested Environments

As the modern battlefield rapidly evolves, maintaining reliable data transport in the presence of adversary electronic threats is one of the DoW’s most critical challenges. The core objective of this CRADA is to ensure that the Army can appropriately leverage cutting-edge commercial technologies within its Systems of Systems network while maintaining absolute resilience.

Through this partnership, Spectronn and the C5ISR Center will work together to understand the advantages of state-of-the-art commercial communications driven by AI and software-defined networking to actively harden these technologies for rigorous military applications.

By establishing this formal legal and technical framework, Spectronn is now positioned to work directly alongside Army engineers. This CRADA bridges the gap between commercial innovation and DoW necessity, allowing us to rapidly transition our commercial communications advancements into deployable, hardened solutions for the warfighter.
