Spectronn’s MaritimeIQ Selected as Novel Analytics Tool Provider for U.S. Navy Disruptor Day
Spectronn announced today that its real-time global maritime intelligence platform, MaritimeIQ, has been selected to participate as a Novel Analytics Tool Provider in the Department of the Navy Rapid Capabilities Office (DON RCO) Disruptor Day: Multi-Sensor Data Fusion & Analytics for Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA).
Organized in strategic partnership between the Portfolio Acquisition Executive Mission Systems (PAE MS) and the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), the Disruptor Day initiative evaluates cutting-edge commercial technologies designed to solve critical maritime challenges in dense, asymmetrical, and highly dynamic threat environments.
As a selected provider in the Novel Analytics Tools capability area, Spectronn’s MaritimeIQ will demonstrate its automated correlation engines and AI-driven analytics. The technology is engineered to ingest, correlate, and uncover hidden relationships across complex, disparate data streams—including Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Electro-optical (EO), Automatic Identification System (AIS) feeds, and other signals.
The primary operational focus of the initiative is to enhance the Department of the Navy’s unclassified Maritime Domain Awareness system, SeaVision. MaritimeIQ will showcase its ability to improve SeaVision's operational picture by delivering precise entity resolution, predicted vessel tracks, and high-confidence tracking of both cooperative vessels and non-cooperative "dark targets" evading standard tracking systems.
Live analytical evaluations and demonstrations will take place over a two-week period beginning the week of November 30, 2026, at the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific in San Diego, California. During the event, Spectronn will execute real-time evaluations in a specialized government laboratory environment, culminating in demonstrations for leadership during Distinguished Visitor Day.
"We are honored to have MaritimeIQ selected by the Department of the Navy RCO and the Office of Naval Intelligence for this critical mission," said Vidya Sagar, Spectronn's CTO. "Tracking illicit maritime activity, from sanctions evasion to dark fleet maneuvers, demands rapid, multi-sensor data fusion. We look forward to validating how MaritimeIQ's analytics engine can directly augment SeaVision and provide actionable maritime intelligence to operators worldwide."
