The Problem

The number of mobile devices connecting to the Internet via WiFi or LTE is already high and continues to increase rapidly. This is causing severe wireless interference and network congestion.

High speed wireless coverage is another key challenge, especially in emerging countries.

Home and Enterprise WiFi

A typical home has at least five WiFi devices competing with each other for bandwidth. As a result, frequent HD quality video buffering, unacceptable latency for wireless gaming, unreliable VoIP/VoWiFi, slow mobile App response and frequent loss of connectivity, within home or in an enterprise, are causing major user frustrations. Current mobile devices and WiFi are not smart to deal with these issues. Every mobile App irrespective of its priority gets a chunk of the wireless bandwidth. Software defined dynamic wireless network access, if designed and implemented correctly, can solve this problem.
Wireless Carriers and MVNOs

Wireless operators and MVNOs are struggling to manage congestion in wireless spectrum and backhaul. WiFi First and WiFi offload are approaches to mitigate this problem. But, seamless and transparent offloading between LTE and WiFi that may or may not be owned by the same operator, without any disruption to user applications (e.g., YouTube), is still elusive. Bandwidth aggregation across LTE and WiFi irrespective of who owns and operates these networks. Software defined dynamic wireless spectrum management is a promising approach.
Mobile Internet of Things (IoT)

A key challenge in mobile IoT such as connected buses, cars and trucks , is the provisioning of reliable and secure wireless connectivity. Mobility causes frequent connection disruptions, rapidly varying wireless speed and latency. Cloud managed, smart, multi-operator HetNet can smooth these uncertainties. Thus, "in-flight" entertainment in buses such as cached or real-time video streaming, online gaming, HD maps, etc. can be supported.

Tactical and Public Safety Communications

Resilience and security are paramount in tactical wireless networks. Additionally, interoperability is a key requirement for public safety communications.

Providing reliable rural wireless broadband over long ranges (e.g., 10Km) is an additional concern.
Our Solution - The Secret Sauce

Our patent pending software defined wireless access technology is a software solution consisting of client and server components. Real-time measurement is used to dynamically optimize the wireless networks based on the application, user, cost, security and priority needs. Cognitive computing or data analytics drives the optimization of the available wireless networks. The software platform closes the loop between cognitive computing and cognitive networking. The result is a super smart, very high speed, wireless access system.

The software defined wireless access platform operates over a number of PHY/MAC layers (e.g., LTE, WiFi, 4.9GHz, 900MHz, etc.). The technology can be readily deployed on existing wireless infrastructure without any changes to base stations, WiFi access points, etc.

Stream ultraHD video streams with no buffering. Blazing speed wireless gaming and much more.
